We would love to welcome all BCM camp leaders to the cabins at Castledaly Manor on October 16^th for dinner, games, and conversation around how to strengthen your ‘roots’ in God! We might also get the chance to do a Zoom call with BCM camp leaders from around Europe to hear how BCM camps in other countries went! Details are below, we would so love to see you all there. We hope this will be the first of a few events of this type spread throughout the year!

Rooted by Banning Liebscher:

We’re going to be having some group chats based on material from the book Rooted.

What is it about? The book talks about the fact that God has designed us all for a purpose and a ministry, but the goal is not the ministry, the goal is God. Ministry flows and flourishes when we set our hearts and eyes on Jesus and allow Him to root us deeply in Himself. You can watch the video about the book here.

What should I do? We would love for you all to begin this book individually so that when we meet up we can chat through what we’ve read and share what’s been coming up for us. Please buy the book and read the first chapter. If buying the book isn’t possible for you please let me know as soon as you can. We will make sure one is available to you, but we want to make sure you have the book in time to read the first chapter before the 16th. Sunday, October 16^th details: 

Location: The Cabins, Castledaly Manor, Castledaly, Athlone, Co. Westmeath N37 TR68

Time: 3.30pm-7.30pm (feel free to stay later and hang out/help clean up). This is not an overnight event.

Cost: We will be serving dinner, so we’re asking everyone to contribute 5 euro.
